Functional Medicine Practitioner

Sagebrush Wellness LLC is a telehealth-native functional medicine practice founded in 2017. We serve clients nationwide — people with complex chronic illness, autoimmune conditions, and persistent symptoms who have not found resolution in the conventional system. Our clinical model is terrain-based functional medicine: we investigate root causes, address the biological terrain, and follow a sequenced Order of Operations that produces real, lasting results.

Our founder, Melissa Rose (AFMC, CHHC, AADP), has worked with 1,000+ clients worldwide since 2017. She is the author of Reversing Your Autoimmune Story and an international speaker in the functional medicine space. Our flagship program, the Vibrant Foundations Immersion (VFI), is a 24-week clinical container that has produced significant outcomes for clients with MS, Hashimoto's, MCAS, EoE, SIBO, and related conditions.

We are growing, and we are looking for a practitioner whose clinical philosophy genuinely aligns with ours — not someone we will have to convince.

You will carry an assigned client caseload within our VFI framework and any derivative programs, conducting telehealth sessions, interpreting functional labs, developing and adjusting protocols, and documenting all clinical work in Practice Better. You work under Melissa's clinical direction as an independent contractor.

• Certified in functional medicine (AFMC, IFMCP, or comparable applied functional medicine certification) — certified, not credentialed only
• Demonstrated experience working with complex chronic illness: autoimmune, neurological, digestive, or multi-system clients
• Proficiency with Practice Better as your primary client management platform
• Familiarity with CellCore Biosciences and Fullscript dispensaries
• Experience ordering and interpreting specialty labs (Vibrant Wellness, Evexia/LabCorp, Mosaic Diagnostics, or comparable)
• Comfort working in a tech-forward, AI-integrated practice environment
• Strong written communication — nearly everything here is async and remote
• You can submit a documented case study of a complex client you have worked with

• Experience with the Order of Operations model: Drainage → Repair → Nutrition → Energy → Detox → Stabilization
• CellCore-trained or familiar with CellCore's drainage and detox protocols
• Experience with SIBO, MCAS, EoE, MS, Hashimoto's, or multi-system autoimmune cases
• Background in terrain theory or biological medicine frameworks

This is an independent contractor role compensated on a revenue share basis. Specific rates are discussed during the application process. You are responsible for your own taxes and self-employment obligations.
